Private Riding Lessons

Whether you are a beginner with no experience or an advanced rider looking to perfect your horsemanship skills, private riding lessons offer something for everyone!

For ages 3 and up, lessons can be scheduled weekly, every other week, once a month or as often as your schedule allows.

Half hour lessons - For our younger riders, ages 3 to 5, this is the best option because of attention level.  However, for older kids and "kids at heart", if you are looking for a lesson with riding only, this is a great choice.

Full hour lessons - These lessons are available to those riders ages 6 and up.

For our newest of riders, those ages 3 to 5, they begin learning balance on the horse, as well as how to get their horse to stop and go.  They will learn to guide their horse around a covered arena while playing lots of games and puzzles with their horse.  As their confidence and skill grows they will get to venture out of the arena and onto the "horse playground" and even the trails.  This foundation to beginner horsemanship is always taught with safety in mind, first and foremost!

Those choosing the full hour lesson will get to experience it all!  These lessons include learning to safely catch, halter, lead, tie, groom, saddle, ride, unsaddle and release a horse.  Whether you are an adult learning to ride for a hobby or a child that is wanting to own your own horse in the future, these lessons can offer as much or a little as you prefer.

Should you only want to focus on horsemanship IN the saddle, we suggest the half hour lesson.  Your horse will be saddled when you arrive and you get to jump on and get a lesson full of riding time.

Sound like fun?  It sure is!

Not quite sure if its for you or your kiddo?  Not ready to commit to lessons, but want to give it a try?  Feel free to schedule a one time lesson to give it a try.

We'd love the opportunity to share our passion for these amazing animals.  Just remember... Equine TLC cannot be held responsible if you fall in love with our horses.  :-)
